Clubs can help you learn more about specific areas of interest, such as digital photography (taking, editing, sharing, creativity), multi-media shows (photos, videos, audio, and music), computers and software (apps), Google tools and capabilities, genealogy, and more. All of this is done in a fun and relaxed environment. The Photo Clubs have additional special learning and fun opportunities throughout the year, such as field trips, creativity seminars, guest instructors, and exhibits. Clubs have some prerequisites for computer and camera skills, as described in the summaries below. Each Club meets monthly January through November on its designated day of the month and time, unless specified otherwise. In December, there is an end of the year get-together.
Club Registration starts around November 1. The AGE Computer Lab newsletter will announce when registration is open for enrollment. Enrollment in each club is limited to ten students, due to the available space in our computer lab. We also need to have a minimum number of enrolled students. If there are vacancies or openings in any club, you are welcome to join mid-year. Please call the office at 512-524-8519 for additional information.
