This course is intended for people who have very limited knowledge about a computer or who might be interested in purchasing one.
It will prepare students to become comfortable working in the Windows environment and sharpen their mouse skills.
Basic is a prerequisite or equivalent knowledge for enrolling in the other computer courses.
Computer 101: Basics of Windows 7, Word Processing and File Management
These classes are intended for people who have a basic understanding of their computer,
have taken the basic class or feel comfortable using a mouse, turning the computer on and off. This course focuses on "Basics of Windows 7, Word Processing and File Management."
Computer 102: Basics of the Web, E-mail, Backup, Security, and Spreadsheets
These classes are intended for people who have a basic understanding of their computer,
have taken the basic class or feel comfortable using a mouse, turning the computer on and off. This course focuses on "Basics of the Web, E-mail, Backup, Security, and Spreadsheets."
Microsoft Office Excel : Basics and Beyond about Microsoft Office Excel Software
This is a course in Microsoft Office Excel. It will cover the basics and beyond of using Excel as spreadsheets and databases for home and business applications. This 4-session course covers many more features and functions of Excel in depth than the 2-session seminar.
