The Director of the AGE Computer Lab and instructor for most photography and many other classes, Roberta, is an award-winning and nationally-known photographer. Here is a sample of one of her recent acknoledgements.
Each
spring, SXSW Interactive honors people with the Dewey Winburne Community
Service Award. This award helps draw attention to the many wonderful people
in Austin who are using technology to improve this city in so many different
ways. Indeed, this award celebrates the spirit of community in Austin that is
entirely unique to this city and unique to SXSW.
Congratulations to a 2011 honoree, our own Roberta
Przybylski! She is the Director of the Austin Computer Learning Center, a
non-profit program of Austin Groups for the Elderly (AGE) and a technical education center for
mature adults. After
instructing and writing curriculum for eleven years, she became the Director in July 2010. Her focus is on narrowing the
digital gap to make seniors feel more relevant and knowledgeable about
computers and applications.
