Prerequisites:

Basic knowledge of Windows, the keyboard and mouse, basic typing skills and your digital camera. Bring your digital camera (and PC connecting USB cable if applicable. Most cameras have a storage card that can be inserted into our PCs and no cable is required.)

Description:

This is an introduction seminar in how to take and work with video clips taken with a digital camera. This is NOT a beginner's class on the basics of the camera or computer.

Goals:

  • How to take video clips with a digital camera
  • Various methods to transfer video clips from the camera to the PC
  • Learn the various video clips settings, sizes and file types
  • Understand how to edit video clips
  • Understand how to integrate video clips with photos into a PC or TV show
  • Learn how to post video clips to the Internet, i.e. to You Tube
